Our Story
Callbook started with a family plumbing business. Our co-founder Michael watched his father lose countless jobs to missed calls while he was under houses fixing pipes. The frustration of returning calls at 9 PM only to hear "we already hired someone else" was heartbreaking.
Traditional answering services didn't understand plumbing emergencies. They couldn't book appointments or answer basic questions. Michael knew AI could do better.
In 2024, he partnered with Sarah, an AI expert from Stanford, to build Callbook - an AI receptionist that truly understands service businesses. Today, we help over 10,000 businesses never miss a call again.
